Ghoulishly good things happen when food bloggers get together for a Halloween themed potluck at Smidge and Pinch in Powell, OH!
After our successful brunch back in February, we decided to host another one for Halloween! Angie at Smidge and Pinch is all about themed parties so she hosted our little event in her adorable shop full of every baking and decorating item you could ever imagine, rental items for parties, and then some. She also offers classes sometimes such as cookie decorating.
Brooke of Babbling Brooke brought Halloween puppy chow.
Holly of Plant Brat brought devilishly good chickpea buffalo dip.
Mary of Fervent Foodie brought a totally terrifying tomato focaccia.
We also invited Rian of Simple Times/Karate Cowboy as well because we can’t get enough of those mixers. Which by the way, their business is exploding and for good reason! You can find their mixers in almost every Giant Eagle and at many local groceries as well. Obviously they are biased and prefer their mixers with their Karate Cowboy line of spirits, since that’s what spawned the mixers in the first place, but they are honestly good with anything which means you have no excuse not to pick some up the next time you spot them while grocery shopping.
Conveniently, Samantha of The Cheesecake Girl sells her goodies out of Smidge and Pinch (as well as many other locations in town) and we were able to pick our choice of toffee crunch or pumpkin cheesecake slices as well as funfetti or oatmeal cheesecake pies. This was in addition to the minis Angie already provided to us. Seriously the best cheesecakes and so many great flavors on rotation it’s so hard to pick a favorite!
